Your assistant is brought onto the stage. A box is placed onto their head. The top of the box is left open at a 45° angle and then a torch or wand is introduced. The torch or wand is passed through the box and their head. The wand or torch is taken out and the front door is opened The magician can wave his hand at the back of the box and the audience will see his hand moving. The assistant’s head has seemingly vanished.

The door is closed and the top is put down as in. The magician waves his hands and removes the box. To everyone’s astonishment the assistant’s head has been restored and shows no harm.
